To Party or Not to Party? That is the Question!
“Should I go to this party?” may be the one question that you ask yourself the most during your college career. For some, it can be a difficult decision to make because there may be other things that that person should be doing such as, homework, working on a project, or studying for an exam. Others might have a hard time deciding because they know that the environment is something that they shouldn’t be a part of. For a few people it might not be a decision to make at all because they have made partying a lifestyle.
When you are faced with this kind of decision, it’s important to think about your priorities and the impact it could have if they aren’t balanced properly. You don’t want to be caught in a situation that could cost you your entire college career.
Situations like underage drinking, doing illegal drugs, even getting caught up in promiscuity or physical altercations can cost you the best years of your life and most importantly, misrepresent your faith. It’s never ok to lose who you are in Jesus Christ for temporary satisfaction. It’s always best to make the smart decision, the decision that best impacts the real reason why you’re in school. FOR AN EDUCATION. A college party will always be a college party and there will be many more of them. So, believe that you aren’t missing anything by skipping out on a few parties to take care of real business.
